Writing a project brief

Write a short brief that gives AI the right context for the project.

A short brief helps AI keep the same language across a document. You set it separately for the active target language.

Add context

  1. Open Inspector > Settings.
  2. In Publication description, say what the document is, who reads it and which names must stay unchanged.
  3. Choose a domain, tone and length strategy.

A useful brief may look like this:

Service manual for technicians. Use short sentences and technical terms. Keep model names unchanged. Text should fit the existing layout.

Domains include technical, legal, marketing and editorial. Tone can be professional, formal, instructional or concise. The length strategy can match the source, allow a longer result or prefer shorter text.

Do not paste the whole document into the brief. Two or three clear rules are usually more useful than a long description.

The brief guides the model but cannot guarantee correctness. Every AI result enters the project as a draft for review.
